MASTER CLASS: Acrylic Still Life (2 hours)
Learn how to paint your own still life masterpiece in a two-hour online master class!

Suitable for the complete painting novice as well as people who have painted before - there is something for everyone to learn and enjoy. Taught in a well-paced, step-by-step format in small group interactive online live classes.
Classes are led by experienced artist and accredited teacher, Marianne Mettes.
You will learn:
Colour mixing
About acrylic paint
Basic colour theory
Brush and paint techniques
Sketching and composition
Finishing touches
BYO materials:
A3 thick paper or canvas (I’ll be using 200GSM paper)
Water jar (for cleaning the brushes)
Pencil, eraser & sharpener
Palette for mixing paint (e.g. lid of a yogurt container)
Assorted brushes (good to have a mix of big & small - I’ll be using: 1.5cm flat, 1cm flat, 0.6 filbert, 1-2mm liner)
Acrylic paints: red, blue, yellow, black & white (try to use either warm colours or cool colours, not both)

Requirements:
A stable internet connection, with webcam and audio capability
A quiet space with minimal background noise
BYO materials (see below)
Table/desk space for painting (use newspapers to protect surfaces)
Please ensure you have your webcam switched on and your mic off when you join the class.
